Strategy
A fast, wide mono-red goblin swarm that turns a flooded board into reach. Sparksmith (six copies!) is the engine: tap a goblin to deal damage equal to your goblin count, sniping blockers early and burning face in the late game while Goblin Taskmaster and firebreathing Crown of Fury push extra damage. Brightstone Ritual and Goblin Sledder grease an explosive low curve, and Lavamancer’s Skill turns any creature into a second repeatable pinger. A burn suite of Shock, Searing Flesh, and Pinpoint Avalanche clears chumps or closes the game, with Lay Waste as reach and disruption. It’s the deck that most reliably ends games fast in this pool.
How to pilot it
Curve out flat: one-drops into Sparksmith on two, then keep adding goblins to raise the Sparksmith count before you start pinging. Goblin Sledder can save a goblin from removal or push a Sparksmith ping over the line by sacrificing a spent body. Stack Crown of Fury on an unblocked attacker, and save burn for blockers rather than face unless it’s lethal.
