Strategy
Bartolomé sits in the command zone as a free, repeatable sac outlet, so every mobilize Warrior token and spare body converts into +1/+1 counters and death triggers on demand. Mobilize and cheap token makers flood the board; attacking spawns disposable Warriors that die at end of combat automatically, while Vengeful Bloodwitch and Vein Ripper turn each death into life drain. Massacre Wurm doubles as a sweeper-plus-drain finisher, and recursion (Bloodghast, Zuko’s Conviction, Pull from the Grave) keeps the fodder relentless. The curve tops out at two 6-mana mythics, otherwise it’s a fast, low, sacrifice-fueled beatdown.
Upgrade path
NEW BUILD 2026-07-15 (wb-mobilize-aristocrats workflow). Two crafts required, both non-owned mobilize rares added to shore up the thin owned mobilize count: Voice of Victory (W) and Avenger of the Fallen (B). Owned rares/mythics already in the 35 (no craft needed): Midnight Reaper, Preacher of the Schism, Bloodghast, Massacre Wurm, Vein Ripper. Note: format legality (needs lowercase ‘b’) excludes the usual Blood Artist / Zulaport / Bastion drain suite, so the deck relies on Vengeful Bloodwitch + Vein Ripper. Upgrade path: if opening more wildcards, craft additional mobilize (Venerated Stormsinger, Nightblade Brigade) and cheap edict removal (Chainer’s Edict, Gatekeeper of Malakir) to replace the weakest 3-drops.
