Strategy
Simic turbo ramp-combo. Kinnan turns every nonland mana source into a mana-doubler (“whenever you tap a nonland permanent for mana, add one of any type it produced”), so cheap dorks and rocks (Birds, Elvish Mystic, Bloom Tender, Sol Ring, Mana Vault, monoliths, the Mox suite) generate absurd mana the turn Kinnan resolves. Protect the pilot with free/cheap interaction (Force of Will, Fierce Guardianship, Pact of Negation, Mental Misstep, Daze, Otawara/Boseiju channel lands) and stall with Rhystic Study / Mystic Remora, then win the same turn by assembling one of the infinite-mana engines below. The mana is dumped into Walking Ballista (grow to arbitrary size, remove counters to deal lethal damage to all opponents), Finale of Devastation (X=huge for a lethal team pump or to tutor Ballista), or Kinnan’s own {5}{G}{U} activated ability to chain the library into play. A dense tutor package (Mystical/Worldly Tutor, Transmute Artifact, Reshape, Fabricate, Whir of Invention, Spellseeker, Trophy Mage, Drift of Phantasms transmute, Tezzeret the Seeker, Birthing Pod, Nature’s Rhythm) finds whichever combo half is missing. Thrasios is a secondary mana sink / card-advantage outlet and a partner-quality backup pilot.

Harden pass: Net positive, surgical. The deck keeps its elite mana engine and win package intact while closing three real gaps: (1) combo resilience — Blue Sun’s Zenith is a creature-independent kill off any infinite-blue line, so the deck no longer leans solely on Walking Ballista or Thrasios+Thoracle; (2) interaction quality — swapping in Mindbreak Trap (exile-based, beats recursion/uncounterable) and Chain of Vapor (the missing cheap answer to resolved hatebears/stax and mirror protection) upgrades the suite against the Breach/Winota-stax meta without thinning the free-counter count meaningfully; (3) two structural holes filled — a fetchable, hate-proof basic Island hardens the manabase against Blood Moon/Back to Basics, and Soul-Guide Lantern adds the graveyard interaction the list entirely lacked. Displacer Kitten replaces the one pure win-more card with an on-plan mana-doubling loop enabler. I declined the optional Hullbreaker Horror add (it competed with Displacer Kitten for the Consecrated Sphinx slot, and Kitten is more on-plan). Six 1-for-1 changes, count held at exactly 99, gameplan unchanged and more consistent.
