Strategy
Vito turns every point of lifegain into an opponent-draining trigger, so this build floods the board with cheap lifelink and death-drain bodies (Zulaport Cutthroat, Blood Artist, Vampire Nighthawk, Falkenrath Noble, Vraan) that stabilize you while chipping every life total. The deck now runs the real 2-card win: Vito + Exquisite Blood is an infinite drain (any single lifegain loops it to lethal for the whole table), with Sanguine Bond as a backup for Vito’s half (Bond has the same text as Vito, so Bond + Exquisite Blood is the same loop with no commander needed, and survives Vito being removed or taxed out) and Bloodletter of Aclazotz doubling every drain (and the loop) on your turn. Redundant aristocrat payoffs and evasive drainers back it up incrementally, and Gray Merchant, Exsanguinate and Corrupt provide burst reach that Vito quietly doubles into real damage. Card advantage from Phyrexian Arena, Midnight Reaper, Darkstar Augur and cheap draw keeps the gas flowing, while a deep removal suite plus Languish, Day of Black Sun and Deadly Cover-Up buy the time to grind opponents out. Owned bombs Massacre Wurm, Vein Ripper, Junji and Demon of Loathing headline the top end. With the combo not assembled, it wins by attrition and inevitability. Vampiric Tutor + Necropotence dig to Exquisite Blood for combo consistency; Sheoldred, the Apocalypse is a value bomb whose gain-2-on-your-draws also seeds the loop while it drains opponents on theirs.

The commander Vito and every tuned-in rare/mythic (Exquisite Blood, Sanguine Bond, Bloodletter of Aclazotz, Vampiric Tutor, Necropotence, Sheoldred, the Apocalypse) are in the collection, along with the rest of the 61 nonland cards and 38 lands. Remaining upgrades live in the ideal list below (the craft count there is computed live from the collection): Bloodthirsty Conqueror (a second Exquisite Blood effect) and Enduring Tenacity (a third Vito/Sanguine Bond effect) for combo redundancy, Torment of Hailfire, Kalitas, Erebos, Vilis, The Meathook Massacre, Toxic Deluge, Wishclaw Talisman, Diabolic Intent, Nighthawk Scavenger, and the utility lands Castle Locthwain, Takenuma and Hive of the Eye Tyrant.
