Strategy
Vito turns every point of lifegain into an opponent-draining trigger, so this build floods the board with cheap lifelink and death-drain bodies (Zulaport Cutthroat, A-Blood Artist, Vampire Nighthawk, Falkenrath Noble, Vraan) that stabilize you while chipping every life total. Without the pricey Exquisite Blood combo, redundant aristocrat payoffs and evasive drainers (Valley Rotcaller, Postmortem Professor, Bloodhunter Bat) do the work incrementally, and Gray Merchant, Exsanguinate and Corrupt provide burst reach that Vito quietly doubles into real damage. Card advantage from Phyrexian Arena, Midnight Reaper, Darkstar Augur and cheap draw keeps the gas flowing, while a deep removal suite plus Languish, Day of Black Sun and Deadly Cover-Up buy the time to grind opponents out. Owned bombs Massacre Wurm, Vein Ripper, Junji and Demon of Loathing headline the top end. It wins by attrition and inevitability rather than a single combo turn.
Upgrade path
This is the playable-now build: the only rare/mythic craft is the commander Vito itself (unowned); every one of the 62 nonland cards is already owned or is a common/uncommon you can craft freely. The power version at brawl-vito-drain.json is the ideal upgrade path — craft Exquisite Blood + Sanguine Bond + Enduring Tenacity + Bloodthirsty Conqueror (infinite drain), Bloodletter of Aclazotz (drain doubler), Torment of Hailfire, and the bomb/tutor top end (Sheoldred, Necropotence, Kalitas, Liliana Dreadhorde General, Vilis, The Meathook Massacre, Toxic Deluge, Vampiric Tutor, Wishclaw Talisman) as wildcards allow.
