Strategy
Mono-blue tempo-control that weaponizes Katara’s experience engine. The deck runs ~10 instant-speed counters, ~9 cheap cantrips and a dozen flash creatures so you’re almost always casting on opponents’ turns; every such cast banks an experience counter (and grows Brineborn Cutthroat / surveils with Unwelcome Sprite). Leyline of Anticipation and High Fae Trickster convert even sorceries and creatures into opp-turn casts; Karn’s Bastion proliferates experience directly. Once counters are stacked, make the small commander unblockable (Aqueous Form, Rogue’s Passage, Falcon’s Wing Harness, or the re-attachable Mechanical Glider) and swing so she loots a huge chunk each turn (draw = experience, discard 1), firing the second-draw payoffs (Faerie Vandal, Mischievous Mystic) and refueling a wide, evasive air force. Six single-target bounce/tuck effects plus Aetherize are the removal suite by design (mono-U has no hard destroy), and independent flyer/token engines (Murmuring Mystic, Talrand’s Invocation, Archmage of Runes, Kaito, Kiora, God-Eternal Kefnet) let the deck win even if Katara is answered. 37 lands (32 Islands + 5 utility) support the double-blue control curve.
