Strategy
Mono-blue control built on Eluge, the Shoreless Sea. Survive early with a deep, redundant counter suite (Spell Pierce, Spell Snare, Flusterstorm, Disdainful Stroke, Glen Elendra’s Answer) plus cheap bounce/stun (Into the Flood Maw, Floodpits Drowner, Out Cold, Waterknot) while flooding lands. Eluge’s flood counters do triple duty: they turn lands into Islands so Eluge grows into a lethal X/X equal to your Islands, they make your first instant/sorcery each turn dramatically cheaper, and they feed Grappling Kraken landfall stun-locks. Card-advantage engines (Archmage of Runes, Matoya, Coastal Piracy, Enduring Curiosity, The Tale of Tamiyo) bury opponents; Stock Up, Chart a Course, Overflowing Insight and Mathemagics refill. Close with owned bombs - Sire of Seven Deaths, Lurker in the Deep, Windreader Sphinx, Tolarian Terror - plus Omniscience into free spells and Turtles in Time as a hard reset/refuel. God-Eternal Kefnet and Kairi are the only new crafts: Kefnet copies spells for free and self-recurs; Kairi is an evasive ward bomb that bounces their board or rebuys spells on death. Wins by attrition: counter their threats, draw twice as many cards, ride a giant Eluge or a sphinx home.

Lean, under the 4-5 cap; running mythic-craft count for this pass advances by 2. All other mythics are OWNED (own>=1, free): Glen Elendra’s Answer, Mathemagics, The Legend of Kuruk, Wan Shi Tong, Lurker in the Deep, Sire of Seven Deaths, Turtles in Time, Omniscience. ZERO new rare crafts - every rare is owned (Flusterstorm, Riddlemaster Sphinx, Curator of Destinies, Arcanis the Omnipotent, Archmage of Runes, Matoya, Enduring Curiosity, Stormchaser’s Talent, The Tale of Tamiyo, plus owned rare lands Agna Qel’a, Great Hall of the Biblioplex, Soulstone Sanctuary, Starting Town). LANDS: all owned nonbasics + Islands, no new land crafts. FUTURE UPGRADES (once Mik has more rare wildcards): premium unowned rares such as Three Steps Ahead, Faerie Mastermind, River’s Rebuke (mass bounce), and a dual/shock manabase - none added here per the rare lock.
